Xmplary Lawn Care is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. We have over 20 years of lawn care experience in the Northern Virginia area. The core foundation of our company is not only the experience we have to offer in this field, but our frustration with mishandling of numerous situations by other lawn care companies in this area. That frustration stems from a lack of customer service and proper application techniques due to the pressures of making a profit. We believe that making a profit while providing quality customer service and proper application techniques can be accomplished successfully. We are committed to helping as many people in the Northern Virginia area as possible without having to compromise on any of these standards. We will never sell our company or agreements from customers to anyone or any other company, no matter how successful or "large" we become. Also, as we grow, we will not allow ourselves to grow faster than maintaining our standards will allow.

Residential Results on Commercial Properties:We will treat commercial properties with the same time, care, and equipment as we do residential properties.

Although no one can honestly guarantee specific results from most lawn care services due to major affects the weather and customer practices have on the outcome; we do offer the latter as a guarantee. We are confident that you will be pleased with the results it will provide.
We will only use the highest quality equipment and products, and we promise to follow the procedure listed below on every single visit without fail or excuses before we will bill you. If we fail to provide any service in a manner consistent with all procedures listed below, that visit will be free of charge. If we fail to perform any service call in a manner consistent with the list below, your next billable basic application will be free of charge.
1. We will drive safely and considerately in your neighborhood.
2. We will knock on your door and/or ring the doorbell and wait at least one minute before we proceed with work. (Unless you request that we don’t)
3. We will walk around and inspect entire area to be treated for any problems and/or any obstacles, instances or lock gates that will inhibit proper applications.
4. We will not complete any service if there are any obstacles (that will affect the results of the service) that can't be moved, impeding instances that can't be resolved, or locked gates to areas that are included with the service that can't be opened.
5. We will conduct our work in a safe and respectful manner to your property as to avoid damaging property and putting ourselves or others in harms way.
6. We will complete our work using the proper techniques and appropriate products needed to ensure maximum results possible.
7. We will advise you on every visit as to what you can expect and what you can do to possibly help with the results.
8. We will clean up after each service by blowing or sweeping products applied or debris we may have caused, off your driveway, deck, porch and sidewalks.
9. We will leave your invoice on your door in a bag with an envelope (if needed) and a treatment notice “flag” in your yard with the time and date treated written on the back.

Xmplay Lawn Care takes pesticide handling and usage very seriously. We are licensed and insured as a company and each of our Lawn Care Technicians are certified with the Virginia Department of Agriculture; Office of Pesticide Services. Our Technicians also attend re-certification courses yearly.
It is our strict policy to adhere to all pesticide label instructions for storage, handling and application of material.
Our liquid applications are dilutions with very low active ingredient content, which reduces any risk to you, your family and pets. Although limited exposure to any pesticide is the best practice to avoid any possible adverse effects, we will provide recommendations for you to follow with each application we do.

"We just want to thank you for the great work you and your employees do. Our lawn has come such a long way from when you first started treating it. We still notice a few weeds here and there but that's because we're extremely critical. The back is a work in progress but has surprised us as we have grass growing all the way to the fence! Lately with a lot of people walking down our street we've had numerous people stop and say something about our grass (and the neighbors- they use several companies). Last week we heard someone say "you guys have the best grass in the neighborhood", this week someone said "how does their grass look like this, they must not have kids, it's amazing" (we had the windows open - working from home) and the best one of all was today.. a couple was walking by as I was about to pull in the driveway and stopped and they stopped and FELT the grass and said
